Sims 3 launcher keeps freezing. [SOLVED]

I bought the Sims 3 base game, World Adventures, Late Night and High-End Loft Stuff.

The other night I torrented and installed (in this order) Generations, Ambitions, Fast Lane Stuff, & Town Life Stuff. (Outdoor Living Stuff is still downloading.)

After Ambitions, the launcher still worked. After installing Fast Lane & Town Life, the launcher will open but when I click PLAY it just freezes. I've already installed the Ultimate Fix.

Is there something I did wrong?

I just tried uninstalling Town Life, and my game worked.
Reinstalled it and it's back to freezing again.

Sorry to keep posting in my own thread haha, but I got it to work by bypassing the launcher completely. I also read another thread from someone that had the same problem, so I'm glad it's not just me.

Glad that you fixed the problem! I would've suggested bypassing the launcher as well. Don't hesitate to contact us with any future problems
