Sims 4 freezing after trying to save

Hey guys I downloaded Sims 4 from games the world and I think my file is broken. I have to save often every time an event happens. I save about every 5 minutes. But when I'm in build mode and I tried to change things around in my house once I want to immediately save the game starts twitching then completely freezes into a blank white screen. As simple as buying a microwave and then trying to save it still freezes. Has any one el see each had this problem or is my file just broke? Please give me your feed back as soon as you can Smile

Welcome to the foum and sorry for the late reply bribri,

Can you try adding your TS4.exe file to the "DEP exclusions" ? Read up here on how to add files to these exclusions:

This is for Sims 3, but you can apply the part in my post about the DEP to any .exe file basically. Again, only focus on the part in this post that deals with the DEP.

Next, do you have any mods or custom content for TS4 installed ? If so, does removing them make a difference ?

Nope I don't WhatDidUJustCallMe?

I found a way to work around it. I have to Save As and I can't overwrite the file. I have to keep saying a new one. Other than that I try to save often and I haven't had any problems.

That's interesting, and I will look into that over time. If you want, go to (My) Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4 and right-click on the folder "Saves". is the box "read-only" TICKED ? ALso, check if the folder "The Sims 4" itself is on "read-only".

Sorry for the very belated reply, but what I meant was that the box should be "marked". I'm not sure how to expalin this, lol. But is the white box EMPTY or "filled" ? If it is filled with a symbol, it means the box is ticked; it's similar like an "OK".

So: make sure the box is EMPTY, and not filled.
