Don't see the reason why its not starting correctly-Please help me!

Hey,
first of all thanks for all the work and giving the opportunity to play the game!
I downloaded the main game,installed it,downloaded the Get to Work Addon,installed it and finally downloaded the Ultimate Fix and installed it as it was described in the guide but i can't play because its not starting correctly.
I get greyish bars when i click anything,it won't load/start no matter what i do.
Origin is not installed and i put all folders in the AV exception list,just like the installation guide told me to do.
Can someone help me please,i'm trying to get this to work for about 9 hours now.

Whad do you mean you downloaded get to work and then the fix?
All the expantions and packs are inside the fix altoghether.
Do you mean that you downloaded GTW from another site?
Edit: I was wrong, GTW is not included in the fix. My bad.

I used the GTW files to overwrite the ultimate fix and did a backup like its described on sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/resetting-the-game-to-factory-settings-without-reinstalling/
I started it and it worked,it showed me the GTW info screen but when i tried to put the ultimate fix files in the installation folder for another try nothing happened and even though i was able to see the GTW screen it doesn't show me the content.
The game starts,i can play but it won't show me the GTW addon,outdoor content,holiday,etc.
Any idea?

Welcome to the forum and sorry for the late reply,
I can only speculate as what might be wrong. Did you use WinRAR for extracting the downloads ... ?
Also, did you make sure to copy the files of "Get to Work" (and the Ultimate fix) into the correct location ? Which is C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4.

Hello Carlos and thank you for your reply.
In the meantime i uninstalled everything,deleted all files and used a cleaner on my pc and then downloaded everything again.
This time i disconnected my internet connection and disabled the AV and it seems to work now.
I did everything like i did before (except what i mentioned above) used WinRar,put it in the correct folder.... i have no clue but i'm happy now.
If you don't mind another question,can you recommend any mods so the sims will eat,cook,etc. a bit faster?I'm worried something might not be compatible with your release.

Sorry for the belated reply, but good to hear you managed to get it working ! It seems that doing a clean un-install can often fix those (and similar) issues.
As for the mods, I can't really help with that, but you may check out other more specialized communities for this ("Mod the Sims", for example). The reason I myself don't use mods as of now in Sims 4 is because there is simply nothing that caught my interest yet. Also, there are permanent problems with mods and CC, when new game patches are released. And as it seems, EA releases these mini-patches almost every month now...
