The Sims 3 Complete Collection from thepiratebay help

Hi, I recently downloaded The Sims 3: The Complete Collection [FULL] *Games4theworld* from thepiratebay. After downloading that torrent, and using winrar to unzip the files, I was successful in installing the base game, the latest update, and The Sims 3 World Adventures and The Sims 3 High End Loft Stuff, and it won't let me install anything else. I have followed all the instructions in the "The Sims 3: The Complete Collection - Installation Guide" and the only games that I have been able to successfully install are the base game, world adventures, and high end loft stuff. Every other game I try to install has said "This product requires an installed copy of The Sims 3. Please install The Sims 3 before installing this product" when I have already installed the base game and the TS3_1.67.2.0240xx_update. Help?

Hello and welcome to the forum,
You don't happen to have the base game from Steam ("in addition") too, installed on your computer ...? If so, please remove (un-install) that one.
If not, try un-installing your base game from the Complete Collection, and then re-boot the computer. After which you re-install the base game, and re-apply the 1.67 manual patch. Then try again installing expansions. Good luck for now and keep us posted !

No, i dont have the base game through steam. I dont even have steam on my computer. I went straight to pirate bay, downloaded the torrent, unzipped the files using winrar and went through the steps to install the game. Everything installed successfully as far as ik, but the only expansions it let mr install were world adventures and high end loft stuff. Every other expansion is basically saying i dont have the base game installed. Which confuses me because if the base game wasnt installed, i wouldnt have been able to install the 2 expansions

Are you trying to install the games on an external hard-drive, by chance ?
Can you open the launcher of the game (just double-click on any of the expansion shortcuts that were created before), and then hover with your mouse over the base game icon on the far left. What does the 'message' say there, when you hover the mouse over it ?

I would not normally sugest this, but can you try downloading the 'other' base game from Games4TheWorld, here ?

Scroll down toward the bottom of the page to find that old download (the one that says The Sims 3 *HOT*). That's basically the same as the one in the Ultimate Collection. But something may be wrong with your download, so you should give it a go. Note that this older download contains .ISO files, and you'll need to mount them. Should you be unfamiliar with mounting virtual discs, see this here:

I downloaded the same version and i got as far as the start menu and when i click the play button it asks for a valid registration code and as far as i know i installed it correctly. did you by any chance add any new registration numbers at all?
