Re: nvidia GPU
Hello,
Note that the 520 is low-profile, which means it's a small GPU used for the (very) old(er) PC's. (e.g. school PC's)
If you're using a normal desktop tower, it won't fit unless you use a converter for the connectors or something.
Same for the GT430.
They should all work well with games like The Sims 3, but if you really want to go for good, I think you should try the GT440, although it's +$100, right?
//EDIT
The two low profile cards have a bracket included, so you can use them in both normal and the smaller, low-profile PC's.

Ok, so they do render, but then slow. I think there's an option for this in the "Options" menu. You should experiment with the settings a little bit. Anyhow, I think all three cards would do good, but I always prefer the more pricey ones, I don't know why, lol.
What's with my avatar, you not like Borat? Then I have to disappoint you...

Re: nvidia GPU
the 8600gt renders slow...
is it because it only beeing 256 of memory???

Well, 256 MB is pretty low these days. 512MB was the standard a while ago, but it seems now all cards are going to 1GB+
Well, if you wish to replace it next year anyway, then I guess you should just go for it.
If you don't know a lot about PC hardware etc, please visit your local PC store and let them check whether your PC is "good" enough to handle the card at all.
