Sims 3 keeps crashing. [SOLVED]

Okay, so I followed all the instruction and it worked perfectly the first few times I played it. After about a week the startup window crashes everytime I click the play button. I've tried resetting my computer several times but I haven't resinstalled sims because I dont want to go through the hassle unless theres another way to fix it?

Hello Mooncat,

Do you apply any Mod or Cc to you Sims? If yes, you need remove it and try run the game.

If no, please follow this:

1) Run The SIMS 3 Without Launcher
2) IF still found any problem, please update your graphic card driver.

Try first this two method. If you still got problem, please come back here
