The Sims 3 - No In-game Towns to Select? Empty The Sims 3 - No In-game Towns to Select?

I have seen other people having this issue (when I go ingame, there are no towns to select, I can't make a new game, there's no options, nothing.) and I have tried to solve it.
 I put the ultimate fix cracks into my base game/expansion packs accordingly, I also tried clearing the cache (DCCache and DCbackup folders, I believe) but it's still not working.
Any help would be great!

Maybe you deleted towns by accident, did you try downloading new towns to try?

I will try that, but I don't think it'll help. It's not just the towns, I can't make a new game or exit the game (without doing it forcefully) because everything is blank.

Hello and welcome to the forum,


As the previous poster said, you should not have deletd the DCCache folder (contents). So if you had any worlds or .sims3pack files installed, they are gone now, and you will need to reinstall them.

Instead, please see the steps from #2 to #5 here, as they should fix your issue:
