Problem installing Empty Problem installing

Ok I had everything installed and got to CAS and then had issues so I deleted it all, reunzipped and I am attempting to reinstall. I keep getting an error "Error writing to C:Program files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Game\Bin\rld.dll Verify you have access to that directory.

Seriously starting to wish I just had the cash to fork out on the actual games as this is giving me a headache from hell Why God.  Please help!!!

Welcome to the forum and sorry for the belated reply,


Navigate to the location C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts. There, look for a folder named "The Sims 4". DELETE that folder and re-start the installation. See also this topic here, which I wrote a little while ago:

I mentioned there that you should only delete the file mentioned in the error, but you should be doing fine too if you delete the whole "The Sims 4"-folder straight away. Good luck and let me know if that worked for you ! Smile
