Download Links To Older Fixes? [SOLVED]
Hello. I do check the Sims 4 Ultimate Fix post quite often. I do appreciate your work. However, I am finding I wish to downgrade to a previous version of a fix you released previously. The reason is a lot of the Mods that I use in Sims 4 are broken. And some of them are not to the point they haven't even updated to 1.7. I carelessly deleted the 1.5 Fix version files in the excitement of the new update. Do you have an archive somewhere where I can re-download a previous release? I want to play the Sims 4, but have grown attached to some Mods that have either stayed at 1.5 or have gone ahead with Get To Work. As you have yet to catch up with things, I am a bit at a standstill with any progress also. Of course, it's not the biggest, top priority in the world, but just something to get by with so things actually work again?

Hello and welcome to the forum,
Hold on please; that is something for the Admin to reply to (as he is probably the only one who *might have* older versions of the fix). I'll notify the Admin about this topic.
That said, you are aware that using an older version of the fix will also mean that you won't be able to use newer DLC items anymore, right ? I mean, it's up to you of course what to make of this, but in the end, I myself would scrap the mods and just go ahead.
Note that if you want to "downgrade" your Sims 4, you should actually un-install it properly via the System Control Panel, and then also re-boot the computer. After whcih you re-install the Sims 4 base game and apply the old fix.

Re: Download Links To Older Fixes? [SOLVED]
Aye. I am fully aware that I will be losing a little bit of content if I downgrade. I do not go in unprepared, everything is cleaned out and am resorting things. I rather have my game run smoothly with the Mods I enjoy (that actually are functional still) than have issues. True, scraping the Mods are something I thought of. It's sort of just temporary until everything catches up and everyone is kinda on GTW, and then I'll move forward. I'll hang onto the older fix files just in case so I don't have to ask again, but by then I hope not. I know everything is still fresh and new and still getting on it's wobbly legs. But, still I'd appreciate a download link. Thank you for the reply.

Hi Xon,
Welcome to the Games4theworld Forum!
This should be the version 1.5 Ultimate Fix you're looking for: https://goo.gl/6HrRgt
Keep in mind that there's a small chance that the old crack won't work, because it has been "patched" by EA. But I doubt it, it's worth the try.
Good luck and please let us know the result!

Re: Download Links To Older Fixes? [SOLVED]
I am pleased to announce that it works just fine with the original Sims 4. Before I replaced the files, I noticed that the base game automatically is 5.1 already. With the addition of your fix, I have not found many errors. The only small things I've noticed is in some of the pop up bubbles are empty. For instance where "Go Cloudgazing etc" was, the bubble is still there, but the text is not.
The Outdoor Retreat expansion no longer is available. Not a bit issue for me, as there wasn't much to it yet anyhow. "Ask about Career" and so on is still in the game. So, yes there are noticeable differences. Yet, thankfully at least it seems less buggy for me.
When I tried GTW, the new professions are pretty much broken. I could not advance in anything. I researched many places to find that the same problems exist with the pure retail game itself. Such as showering in GTW clothing, being unable to cook yet have the funds taken anyway, so on, so on. Definitely nothing G4TW causes. Plus with many of my Mods ineffective as well, the odds in downgrading are in favor.
After all, what is the point in a broken game? I know there are so many things you guys can do, but lately (nothing new), it's EA that keeps releasing incomplete games to rake in the dough. There's only so much folks like yourself can do to try and fill in the gaps.
Thank you once again for your reply and link. I am very grateful. Rushing forward is not always the most thorough idea, as we can learn from all of this.
Mod edit: problem solved, topic closed. Have fun !
