Sorry for the inconvenience, but I myself am not going to re-upload anything, due to the technical problems I am having currently. If you can't get it working, try (re-)downloading at different times of the day, go for the RELOADED-torrent straight away, or wait indeed until the Admin is back from vacation. Did you read the opening paragraph of the announcement here ? 

The reason I chose MediaFire and not MEGA is because I only have a free MEGA account (and I'm not going to pay for a Pro/Business account, if I don't need it). With a free MEGA account there is a download limit of 10GB every 30 minutes. Mind you: the whole fix is 4GB in size already. Imagine what would happen if I put that onto the free MEGA account: people would complain about the bandwidth limit.

MediaFire indeed seems to be a bit slower, but it does NOT (!) have any specific bandwidth limitations, not even the free MediaFire accounts. But in general, the downloads speeds are almost the same in MEGA and MediaFire. 

Also take into account that not just you, but countless other people are downloading this at the same time. Hence your very slow speed. And you don't necessarily need to re-download everything: parts 1-4 are 850MB in size, part 5 is around 770MB. If you find that part(s) have less size, then re-download just those damaged parts.


A torrent would indeed be the best solution here, but that is going to be done by the Admin later on.

I am downloading the five files at same time, and I paused/restarted the slice five a couple of times to see if it would come faster (it did not).

Thanks for the effort !   However, I believe the Admin is going to return soon anyway, and he will then also upload a torrent, so I'm unsure if it's worth it, that you spend time on this...but if you want, then go ahead of course !

I was wondering if you knew when Admin would be returning? I don't know if you guys all know each other personally or not, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask?

I don't know anybody on here "personally", as of now.   Hence I can't tell when the Admin is going to return, sorry.

You could also take the torrent from RELOADED, and just extract the game files from it: namely those folders that you are supposed to copy + paste into the Sims 4 install folder. That's what I did, and the Admin also does that.

You could also take the torrent from RELOADED, and just extract the game files from it: namely those folders that you are supposed to copy + paste into the Sims 4 install folder. That's what I did, and the Admin also does that.  

And if you already have the torrent from RELOADED, there is absolutely no need that you mess with this Mediafire-thing ! If you need the install guide, I can provide that separately. But if you already have the RELOADED-stuff, just (re-) extract the relevant folders only, and you can start uploading if you wish.

If it is the same version "we" tried before, then I guess there will be the need to change the install folder, to make it work, like you said above, as it causes the origin error (at least on my PC), as far I have tried it if installing inside the Electronic Arts folder.

I got three slices, firefox freezing downloads (I guess probably a bug of developer edition), then I have to start over

The torrent that I got from KAT seemingly got removed there.   But I guess that all of these torrents are the same anyway. As said, make sure to extract ALL the folders that you need to copy into the game install location, C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\

Just got the last slice of your upload, the RAR extracted fine, so I can work on it tomorrow! Got three "viruses" from Windows Defender (as anybody knows, all anti virus publishers seem to be against piracy, so they treat pirate stuff as "viruses" instead of being honest and filtering the real dangerous stuff from stuff that just "break a couple of stupid copyright laws").

Nobody gets hurt by using a key generator, it is really weird they have a group for them as if they were some kind of virus

I'll rest now and come back later (or tomorrow) with a new video and the torrent available for everybody!
