Not Launching

I downloaded the fix and installed it (following the instructions) but all that happens when I launch (as admin) is a very small window opens in the corner, my display blinks, then nothing happens. I don't get any errors or any notification that something went wrong or something launched. 
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game (and fix & GTW), I've updated the video drivers, I have the folders on the exception list in my anti-virus, and nothing is working. 

Can anyone help?

Was the game working before, or is this the first time that you are installing the game?

If you had it installed before, try temporarily renaming and moving the folder located at Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4. See if it changes anything.

I had it installed before but then (I can't remember if it was doing this before or after I updated) I was having trouble opening it, so I decided to reinstall. I tried what you asked and the same thing happened. All that was in the new generated folder (C:\Users\...\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4) is four files (clientDB, Config, Options, UserData.lock) and the empty mod folder with the .cfg file. I don't know if that information is useful but. it's not even running long enough to load in all the folders.
