"Incomplete Game Data" Empty "Incomplete Game Data"

Post by Guest Sat 19 Sep 2015, 00:01

Hey there!

So I've downloaded the ultimate fix and added it on to the game, but now that I've done this when I load a game it says "game data incomplete"and I noticed an increase in game crashes. When I check what is missing from my game, I'm missing Granite Falls and the ability to take a vacation, however it appears that other items from the outdoor retreat and other packs are still available. Previously to downloading the ultimate fix, I had downloaded "Get to Work" from games4theworld and a torrent on thepiratebay The.Sims.4-RELOADED by drarbg. These two worked fine together and it was only until after downloading the ultimate fix that the message started showing up. I've noticed to right before this there was some kind of maintenance notice popping up in my game which kinda troubled me, but it could also be nothing. I'm not completely sure as I didn't go back to check if it caused any problems. I've made sure Origin was not running in anyway or form and on Avast I've allowed the necessary folders to be excluded.  I haven't downloaded any mods.

I hope you guys can help and thanks! Smile

Please, just a test, try renaming your "The Sims 4" inside your Documents folder to something else, and start a new test play.

If it works, maybe you used some Custom Content that's causing the issue, or a corrupted file, maybe?

If so, you just try recovering your saves and the rest to the newly created folder (by the game) and see what hapens after each step.

Otherwise, we'll have to dig further.

Please, keep us posted any way Smile

Ok, so I renamed "The Sims 4" in my documents, but my game creates a whole new "The Sims 4" folder to use when playing. I reinstalled the whole game from games4theworld now and I redid the ultimate fix but there's no difference still. WhatDidUJustCallMe?

I'm sure this is a very stupid question, but have you tried restarting your computer? I occasionally start the game and load a save only to get the incomplete data message. I exit the game without saving and restart my computer. When I open the sims again, everything is fine (so far, at least *knock wood*).

I just tried restarting my computer now, but unfortunately I got the same message. I've noticed however that magnolia promenade is now missing too since I've reinstalled it. Thanks for the idea though!

Ok, so i also noticed that when I attempt to play a fresh game with none of my old saves, when the notices appear at the menu screen telling you info about the packs that were downloaded that when I attempt to close the "Welcome to the Sims 4 spa day" my game freezes for like a minute and then a notice comes up saying "Pack download in progress- Your uninstalled packs are downloading now. You will receive a notification once the download is complete." And then when I attempt to play the same things from before are missing so far that I've noticed: Granite falls, the ability to take a vacation, and magnolia promenade.

Are you running Origin? If you are, that might be your problem. It has to be closed (not only the window, but the process, look into your notification area in your taskbar for it) for the DLC to work with the crack.

Please, keep us posted!

Just wanted to pop in and say I'm having the same error. Restarting didn't fix it and neither did renaming the folder.

The only difference is I am not getting the Origin message saying anything about uninstalled packs.

And I have a question, I was reading about dishwasher in this update but I can't find it so should dishwasher  be in this latest fix or not?

I am also having the same problem. The game was working fine and then I installed the ultimate fix today and I got this message. I don't have Granite falls anymore. My sim is a doctor but when I sent her to work I couldn't see the tasks that she had to do and no sims came to the hospital. The spa never was placed in the world either.

I do not have origin btw. And I tried renaming the folder but that did not work. Nor did restarting.

Post by Guest Thu 24 Sep 2015, 05:58

Update: Still wouldn't work. Tried everything suggested. Even tried it on another computer to see if my stuff was just messed up. When I would go to work I couldn't see my tasks (just Llamas, lol!) and the spa wasn't there.

Also, I used WinZip to unzip the files the second time I tried. The first time I used 7Zip and figured it corrupted a file during extraction. Nope.

I ended up uninstalling and then reDL-ing the original TS4 and GTW via TPB. Working a-okay.

Hopefully someone can explain how to fix this issue so I can get the Ultimate Fix Smile
