isn't there a way of doing the updates/patches for the games if not the packs?? 

Yeah i know i might hear some you say "ya can if you pay" and yes i am willing to wait lol just alot of CC aint showing in game now because we are out of date

Anarchy's right though. As un-satisfactory as it is (from the perspective of a TS4-fan eagerly waiting for the next update), what else do you want to hear ? Smile  Games4theworld themselves don't create those Sims 4 fixes, as you may have noticed. I can assure you that if it were possible, G4TW would have released the update already. 

Also, what many people (still) don't fully realize is that releasing those fixes is not just about creating a fairly complex crack. Whoever creates those cracks also has access to a legit TS4 base game on Origin plus all commercially available DLC. The only ("legal") way to obtain those update files is through Origin game updates. So this alone is already a huge difference to Sims 3 back then, when there was a manual patch freely available. The Ultimate fixes for Sims 3 as well as the later versions of the store fixes were created/compiled by team members, but Sims 4 is a lot harder to do. 

Besides, most people want the "full" fix for Sims 4 with all the DLC too, and not just the update for the base game.

If CC don't work, try doing without them for now.
