Cash Register not working. [SOLVED] Empty Cash Register not working. [SOLVED]

I built a new retail store with a new family after I applied the latest fix. After I stocked the store, I tried to set my prices, hire employees and open the store by clicking the cash register, but nothing works. I click the cash register, the options come up, but clicking on them does nothing. I checked with one of my old sims that has a retail store already, and the cash register doesn't work there either. I've removed mods, didn't work. I removed the Sims folder from my documents folder to basically start a new game, created a new sim, bought a retail store, and tried to open the store, that didn't work either. Anyone know how to fix this issue?

Sorry to hear that! I have seen more people complaining about the same issue. No solution came up so far.

I don't have the game, right now, to try, sorry. Let's hope someone comes up with ideas to fix that...

At present it is probably best if you look (again) at my global announcement here:

I edited the post earlier today. The link you get in my opening post leads to a torrent file on MediaFire. With this torrent file you can download Sim Architect's 4GB fix; it should have many seeders. This fix includes everything, including "Get to Work". Re-apply the fix onto your installation and overwrite all of the old files when prompted.

That should fix your in-game cash register issue (at least it did for me). Good luck !
