Some food become invisible?

So I notice this happens with food made by machines from the Store like Deep Fryer or Baker's Station only.
When I put away the leftovers and then take it out from the fridge, the meal disappears (sometimes). After a while, the food went bad and when my sim cleaned it up together with other dishes, I realized that it was always there. It didn't disappear, it just become invisible.
I think it will work if I use the "Eat the leftover". But as I want my family to eat together, I have no choice but to open the fridge's inventory and take the meal out so that I can use the "Call for meal" interation.
By the way, I got the contents from Premium Sims and I use Games4theworld's store fix.

Hi! I think that you can't use "call for a meal" interaction, unless you do as you explained, taking the dish out of the fridge and selecting the interaction when it's over a counter or a table...
Sorry you found a glitch with the game. It's unlikely it will be fixed, since EA stopped working on Sims 3 after they released The Sims 4, but I am glad that it's a small one that won't make your game unplayable.

Hello,
Try selling the fridge every now and then. If you want to keep the food/content, you can use the eyedropper tool I believe to "copy" the fridge. The copied fridge counts as a new fridge, and then you can delete the old one. That way, you can keep all your foodstuffs.
I'm not sure if it can help with that problem, but I myself copy/delete the fridges regularly, and I can't recall experiencing any similar problems with "invisible food". Good luck !

Thanks for the info. That's a great idea! I think I have read about it somewhere, a long time ago, but I had forgot about it. Since I am mostly building and not playing, I don't know much about the play mode issues and tricks.I will install the game again on my computer eventually, then I can play and record more videos, yay!
