Unable to serve food on buffet table and can't buy food/drinks on bars

i have this problem since I've installed new expansion packs, University Life and Seasons. When I try to serve food on my buffet table, there is no food and cash is deducted.
then my sim went to different bars like Waylon's hunt and ordered for foods/drinks but the bartender isn't there or even if there's a bartender, my sim just teleports inside the bar station then just goes out.
I know that I've installed all of my expansion packs correctly and updated to v 1.55.

Go in build mode, then hold the Ctrl key and click the buffet. Then click Reset.

Hello,
The buffet tables are not working as you think it is. Click the buffet tables and select "Set Food Quality" and select the affordable upkeep. It (the upkeep you choose) will be added to your expenses and revenues will be deducted according to your expenses. If you gain a profit (you mostly do), you can take all the money you earn. And the buffet table is served by maintenance workers. You can choose the quality of the workers though.
When you start a new world, you've got to wait for a bartender to come. I've waited for the receptionist for nearly a sim-day to check in. So you better wait.
