Quick question. [SOLVED] Empty Quick question. [SOLVED]

Quick question. I don't know if this topic is still in use but I'll ask it nevertheless.

Is it possible to install a few expansions, play the Sims for a while and decide to install some other expansions?
Should I just repeat the steps with the cracking part or will this wreck my game?

Hello and welcome to the forum,

I moved your post to the correct section, but for the future, please make sure to open a new thread in the correct forum section straight away. Smile

Yes, you can add expansions later on too. Just install your "missing" expansions on top of your existing installation. After that, please re-apply the "manual patch" at first. And then re-apply the "Ultimate fix". of course, you don't need to re-download these things (patch + Ultimate fix). Just re-apply them. That means, look again at steps #2 and #5 here:

Good luck !

Thanks for your answer. While my question was related to the topic I wrote it in, it sounded logic to me that I didn't have to make a new topic. But that doesn't matter. :-p

It's OK. Smile  Indeed, it sounds logical for most outsiders to just post in a "general thread". But we actually prefer people opening separate topics, primarily to make things look less messy, and more organized. If you look back at the "must read" topic for The Sims 3, you will notice a bunch of thank-you-posts. If people started posting their help requests there, it would be a total mess, and it would also be hard to follow such a mega-thread then.

Also note that the opening post by the Admin in that thread has a notice at the end which is in bold red color. Feel free to re-read it. Wink And the forum rules also have a passage related to the issue. See rule 1 here.

That said, good to hear that this answers your question. Feel free to open a new topic, if you wish to get back in touch with us again, or if you just want to chat about something. Have fun ! Very Happy

Problem solved, topic closed.
