I cant start the game with the dlc Get to work and Get together.

Hi

i have the original origin sims 4 version but i downloaded today the get to work and the get togeher. i did all the steps in the instruction even got the ultimate fix. but even with this the game dont start i get always the pop up that i have to update the game via origin because there is a new version.

any ideas how to start the game?

Experience shows though, that this error can be fixed relatively easy...

P.S. we will of course release new versions of Sims 4 and DLC, as soon as possible.

hm there is a new version Update: 07.01.2016 – PC-Version 1.14.49.1020/Mac-Version 1.14.49.1220 i dont know if it works with this...also i posted this in the ultimate fix threat and my post got deletet...why?

also when i now click on the ts4.exe or ts4_64.exe nothing happens anymore..if origin is in oline modus it wants to download the whole sims 4 version again ... i really dunno what to do Sad

As for your other post, I deleted it because questions are not allowed in "Fixes" sections. The opening posts in the "Fixes" sections always have a warning at the end, in bold red color, stating that questions are not allowed.

I apologize if you feel upset about it, but our policy is to keep things as organized as possible here. People should always post their questions in the sections named "Downloads support" or "In-game support".

Back to your concern, as I said, we will release new stuff for Sims 4 as soon as possible. But I cannot give you a specific date when that will be. Very Happy

The error message you showed above though is normally about something different.

From what you write now, I assume you have a legit Sims 4 game on Origin, and then added pirated DLC ? If that is the case, you can indeed either wait for a new Ultimate fix, or what I would also recommend is this topic here:

Please do the things described in there first of all. Smile

This is to prevent Origin from updating your games. After that...it depends. If you already updated your game in Origin, then you can also uninstall it (from within Origin).

After which you use a pirated base game of The Sims 4. You can get the torrent from the following site;
https://games4theworld.org/downloads

Make sure to keep the installation order as follows:

1) The Sims 4 Base game (pirated, from G4TW)
2) Get to Work
3) Get together
4) "Hotfix", see this topic here for the details

Always make sure to fololow the included instructions in each of these downloads. I'm sorry you have to go through all this trouble, but if you follow these steps (correctly), then you should be able to play worry-free.

ok i dont know how i did it but now the game is running with the ts4_64.exe XD after i turned off origin even the pop up with the update didnt come again...i also deletet the game filde in the documents/EA/Thesims4 folder...maybe that triggert the game start.

i hope this status of working game will continue

Yes, you indeed need to have Origin completely turned OFF, before playing the pirated Sims 4. Very Happy
