Autorun won't open Empty Autorun won't open

SO I'm installing sims 2 on Windows 10 & everything was going normal but now when I try to open Autorun in the University folder it does nothing... I tried to repair it but it still will not open. So I guess my question is, am I able to play the game without this expansion pack?

Hello @Rachelxox,


Yes, you can skip the step with the "University" EP, but before doing so, try these other things. If you still have the torrent running in your torrent client, right-click on the torrent and select STOP. Now right-click again on the torrent and choose "Force re-check". Wait a little while until it is completed, and when it is, resume the installation.

Also, I'll assume you used WinRAR for extracting the .RAR file of the download ? And make sure that you extract the contents of the .RAR into a single empty folder. From which you then run the installation.

Thanks! I got it to work! I was trying to open Autorun from the University folder that's within the Sims 2 base game folder and had totally forgot about the University folder that's in my documents.
