Hello,
First of all, welcome to the Games4theworld Forum!
I've not played this game myself, but I can tell you that most cracked games do not offer online capabilities. Simply because it's a cracked copy of the game.
If you'd like to use the Online features, I recommend that you buy the game.

Hello @booklover198913,
The servers for the game were shut down by EA in 2011 already, hence you end up with that specific error-message, even if you buy the game, I'm sorry (see this here for example).
On a related note, the game MySims for PC is a relatively unknown title, because most of the retail disc versions were re-called from stores (I don't know why exactly this was done; however, the game can still be purchased online, in the form of a digital download version). I guess the sales figures of the PC version were pretty low, and soon after that, EA started to transfer the game series fully onto the Nintendo-platform anyway. Some people say that the PC version has lots of glitches, which I myself cannot confirm, but yes.
