Can't play any families.

so i load up my game normally i can make a sim i have cc but i cant get in to the game/simulator i cant really play i have installed all of the stuff
but it just stays loading screen i left it all night and all the way from 7am-4pm help

try to delete the localthumbcache.package in C:\Users\...\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 and delete all the items in lotcacheddata Folder, I've experienced that also so I force quit my game & delete the cache.. ^^ I hope it works.

Just to make sure...how did you install the Sims 4 games ? Did you make sure to use the program WinRAR for extracting ?

Good...did you also keep the recommended install order of the items like this here ?
1) TS4 Base game
2) Get to Work
3) Get together
4) "Hotfix" (see this topic)
You can get the Get to Work + Get together expansions from the official downloads page, if you haven't done so yet. By the way, you don't need to uninstall anything. Just re-copy and re-paste the files/folders, starting with Get to Work, then continue with Get together, and finally apply the hotfix. Then try the game again.

You could try adding back your CC, one-by-one, to see which item causes the freezing at the game startup, if you like.
