'Requires Sims 3' Error

'Requires Sims 3' Error

Hi! So I have been wanting to get supernatural for a VERY LONG TIME, so excuse me if this post sounds like I'm irritated('cause I kinda am).
Anyways, I downloaded the sims 3 from this website, and followed all the instructions from that *MUST READ* thing. However, when I got to installing supernatural at step three, it told me I needed sims 3. The Error message is shown in the attachment.
I have a mac, so it could be because the setup file thingy is a windows file (exe). The only reason it works is because I have wine. I can't find any mac versions of this expansion pack, at least on this website.
Hope I don't feel naggy if I say this, but please answer! I REALLY want supernatural! Thank you so much!

Unfortunately we cannot give any Mac support nowadays. The only thing I can offer you is to have a look at the Mac-guide (which was written by a former team member here, many years ago). You can download the Mac guide here:

Can you still play the game ?
Because it looks like the base game is "lost" on your computer.
If the game is still playable, have you updated via the Launcher to the latest version ?
Do you have any other expansions besides:
Base Game
World Adventures
High End Loft Stuff
Ambitions
Fast Lane Stuff
Late Night
Outdoor Livin' Stuff
If yes, make sure that the crack must be placed in the folder of the base game and not in the folder of the expansions.
Because it looks like the base game is "lost" on your computer.
