Can I mix my bought sims 3 with sims 3 downloads?

Hello!
I have bought Sims 3 and some of the expansion at origin, and wonder if I could download expansions from here and get it to work? Is that possible? Can I mix my bought sims 3 with sims 3 downloads? I have already downloaded sims 3 ultimate fix - but I dont want to try if it's not possible. If it's possible, how do I do?

Greatful for answer (I've tried to google it, but haven't found any good answers and I thought that games4theworld Always come with good support).

Yes, it's possible, but first thing I'll ask you if you installed 1.69 patch if you have The Sims 3 Base Game registered to Origin.

My base game is registered to Origin and I did something so my whole game is destroyed or something. I deleted all my sims 3 files on the computer and uninstalled it. So now I'm going to try to download it all from here instead.

I couldn't seem to find my Sims 3 games in the computer, I could just see them on the Origin map in my computer, so I tried to move them all to "Electronic Arts" and then Everything Went wrong and it couldn't seem to find the game and so on.

My plan now is to download the base game from here, the expansions that I want and then from origin install the expansions pack that I bought from Origin - is that possible?

Yes, it is. Follow this guide to install The Sims 3. Before installing you MUST uninstall all The Sims 3 addons using our Your Uninstaller! Pro. Uninstall it using Super Mode.
I'll personalize this guide for you:

3. Install expansions that you downloaded from here and those from Origin, also install stuff packs if you want.

So, when you're on step #3 install expansion from Origin.
When you install expansions from here you'll see #InstallationGuide open that document just to use serial key for installation. So, when you're installing expansions or stuff packs from here start .exe of chosen addon, open #InstallationGuide to use serial key, follow other steps of installer to install EP or SP. Click finish. DO NOT USE CRACKS PROVIDED WITH EPs AND SPs! Then same way install all addons you want. When you installed everything you need to use Ultimate fix. Open instructions from Ultimate Fix and copy #Crack files in that folder to destination written in guide.

Just one thing: you are not supposed to "move" any folders from programs that have already been installed; at least not in Windows OS. Because the "new" location of your programs will conflict with the registry entries that still "point" to the old install location.

That aside, I personally recommend not to use any Origin-games of The Sims 3, but theoretically it should work either way. Given the most recent problems with this 1.69 patch and people reporting various issues when mixing Origin game and pirated ones...I don't know. Doesn't sound too good for me, which is why I solely have pirated games since many years and with no problems whatsoever.

Just for trying out, I installed a mix of original and pirated games.
I placed no cracks or fixes
Updated via Origin to 1.69
My highest game Into the future is a prirated .iso file
Works fine and I have "the advantages (not really)" of the ability to switch off unwanted expansions.

Just be sure to install base game from here to avoid updating to version 1.69.

Why should one avoid updating to 1.69 ?
It's a real solution for people with less powerful laptops.

I don't really think. This update only includes expansion manager that allows you select what expansions you want to activate for your game. And of course, people who have mixed the legit Origin basegame of The Sims 3 with pirated expansions/stuffpacks will find that this update has screwed and borked up everything, well for most users. It's just annoying because it works with few mods. Previously released mods doesn't work because modders retired and didn't update their mods. This update only adds previous mentioned launcher update and non optimization, bugs fixes...

At least I did and I had no problems whatsoever.
Sorry to say that pirated .iso downloads without cracks versus other kinds of pirated downloads with cracks perform extremely good.
Yes, I am a PowerIso supporter where an .iso download is equal to a bought expansion.
