The Sims 4 Exchange?

I was wondering if there will be a Sims 4 Exchange like there is a Sims 3 Exchange?

Hello @Layloria,

I remember there was an internal discussion a long time ago about that, between the team members. In my eyes, the main reason we won't be introducing a TS4 Exchange is due to a general lack of interest in The Sims 4. The game was never popular, and the majority of e.g. support requests that we get concern issues such as problems with anti-virus programs or general requests "to release updates immediately".

An exchange is something that would really need a community of people to be at least somewhat successful, and - at least at present - I don't see enough interested people on here. If you look back at the exchange of The Sims 3 here, that one wasn't much of an overall success either, though TS3 was super-popular back then.

You could now point out that "success" is always relative and that "we should go forward nonetheless". While success is indeed something relative, another aspect would be that we will end up having even more forum sections that don't have many posts. It would just clutter the forum even more than it is at present.

But of course, we will see how the future unfolds. Who knows ? Maybe TS4 will indeed become popular at one point or another. Haters gonna hate

I quite agree. There just isn't that much "going on" with TS4 to warrant an entire section to an exchange on the forum, although a subforum under the existing exchange could be an idea.

As the title says is there any possibily open new topic with The Sims 4 Exchange, same as The Sims 3 Exchange. If we doesn't have access to Gallery, at least a place where we can download user created items.
If that idea comes to life, I could write a few guide how to export created content, appropiriate pack it, and where place it after downloading.
Also, I LOVE to build houses so I could create houses.

Indeed, there isn't interest do much in The Sims 4 as in The Sims 3. It really has mixed opinions but mine is positive for most thing. Though, if I want to post some houses I made in which forum section it would go.

No problem at all, and who knows what the future will hold indeed. Smile

If you want to post your creations, open a thread in "The Sims 4 chit-chat". I think that section is most suitable. Make one (1) topic and update it whenever you want to share anything with the forum here.
