Map tags/icons disappeared??

Hello,

My sims game has been working just fine since I installed it, but I just wanted to move a new family into my city, and no map icons are showing up? You know the free lot en free house icons. 

When I'm in play-mode and I go to the map-view, I can see all the icons, but when I want to move someone into my world they are all gone. 

I just noticed that when I'm in play-mode, I also can't see the amount of money left. When I go to build-mode I can see the money.

Does anyone know how to fix this??

UPDATE: It's only when I try to move sims from the gallery (is that what you call it?) in my world, or when i just created a new family and try to move it in. If I'm in play mode and I want to move, the tags are there

Do you have any mods for the game installed, and if so, have you tried removing them temporarily?
