So I've been searching through even more threads until I get a response and found something about how the G4TW base game has problems, but the issue is I can't find the cracked Mac version to install instead. The link provided on the Mac Guide says that torrent doesn't exist. I don't want to download just any torrent, in case I run into more problems.

Hello and welcome to the forum @BookBird,

Sory to hear about your difficulties...unfortunately though we cannot give any Mac support at the time being, as the current team does not have much Mac experience. The Mac guide refers to a base game that is no longer available, but the base game that is included in the "complete collection" of TS3, here:

Is compatible with Mac. Keep in mind though that this download is 27GB in filesize and has all expansions and stuffpacks included.

Maybe someone else can help you here, though.

I was going to fetch a link for you, but TPB is down at the moment.
I do believe you could use the Base game from our Complete Collection, but that would mean having to download a rather large file just to get the base game. I will check for a link later on again.

If it were as simple as that, our original version of the Base game should work just fine on Mac but alas, it doesn't.

The 27GB file was too big, but I used Tarac's file and my Sims is FINALLY working. Thanks!

Some questions as I do not have a Mac myself.
Could you install and play with the iso's or did you have to convert the iso to dmg ?
Have you used a crack ?
Can you play without crack whilst you have the iso mounted ?
