Sims 3 Pets glitch. [CLOSED]

Hello, I am new at this so don't hate me =)
Few days ago I download Sims 3 Complete Collection and installed everything as is said, so the base game and expansion packs. The thing is that everything is working great but Pets. I mean the clothes and buy and build mode working just fine but the pets have glitch. Either is in create a pet or in live mode the pets are just messed up. I even try unistalling and installing again, and I even download Sims 3 Pets as itself but there is no difference. i would be very thankfull if you help me. (Sorry if there are grammatic mistakes, english is not my native language) =)

For now, can you press the Windows key + R, type dxdiag and hit enter? Now, in the window that comes up, go under the tab that says "Display". Try making a screenshot of that entire tab, and upload the screenshot.

Then we will see what can be done further. Smile

You can upload/host images on the forum as well. When you write a post:

Sims 3 Pets glitch. [CLOSED] 17a0bf0bc81b4fc3830d2b295aa17011

Click on the button enclosed in red. You'll then get an "image URL" (kind of a web address). Copy that image URL. Now click on the button enclosed in green and PASTE the URL you copied before. If you did everything right, the image should show up in your post. Very Happy

There are also tools that make it easy to create & upload screenshots. Google for "Lightshot" and download/install it. You can simply press PRT-SCR and then you drag a rectangle with the mouse over the screen area you want to capture. You also have the possibility to upload pictures from within the program.

The latest available driver for this "Intel G31 chipset" dates from October 2009, according to the link I just posted. You could try and download/install that, but even if it works, I'm not so sure whether it's going to solve your problem. But it's still worth trying though - good luck and do keep us posted!

I install what you told me but it didn't make any difference. Guess it's time for better computer. Anyway I will play Sims with others expansion packs that works and maybe I'll buy original Pets. I'm very thankful for all your help. =)

Buying Pets won't make a difference in this case either. The Games4theworld version of TS3 Pets is fully functional. Indeed, a newer computer is the best idea. Smile

That graphics card probably simply isn't supported for the Pets expansion. We had plenty of problems in the past with that.
You don't have to buy a new computer per se, you could upgrade to a GPU instead, if there's room for it in your system. It doesn't even have to be a phenomenal card.

Ok thank you for information about computer upgrade, and thank you to tell me not to buy original Pets game because that would be a waste of money. Anyway I'm glad that I can have at least other expansion pack thanks to your site.
