Create-a-Sim - City Living Items Not Working

I installed City Living successfully, but when I opened my game (I opened an existing household) a little window popped up noting some items may have been removed from CAS because the current user didn't own or have access to them (or something to that effect). When I open CAS, all of the stuff pack content works fine - but any time I click on a City Living item my sim turns red & white with a question mark showing up, aka the file is missing I guess? Any idea how to fix this?

Hello @waydocat,

Are you sure you have Origin completely closed (including the window for signing in), prior to starting the - cracked - Sims 4?

I don't think I have Origin on my computer at all - I never see the window.

@The_gh0stm4n I checked my computer and I don't see Origin installed on it anywhere - unless it's built right into the Sims itself somehow. Is there a way to check?

Should I try to reapply the crack?

No, don't bother about that.

Can you instead try moving your install folder of The Sims 4 directly under the desktop, and then run the game from there? See also the post here:

@The_gh0stm4n I tried moving the folder and reset my anti-virus software's exception list, I also edited the permissions for the bin folder + all the new folders I copied + pasted for City Living - no luck, I'm still not able to access content from City Living...so weird cause every other SP in there works fine. I haven't gotten the message about 'access' again either within the game. Any other ideas?

Sorry for the late reply,

Is your install folder on the desktop? If so, try using the TS4_x64.exe for starting the game (if your Windows is also a 64-bit version). Right-click on the .exe and choose "run as Administrator".
