Sims 3 Invisible Sims!

So after installing Pets onto my base game plus ambitions and late night... I followed all the instructions and applied the crack like I was supposed to. Log into the game and I go to create a sim, and I encounter an empty room with an invisible sim. Which is strange enough, but then when you go to create pets, they show up in the same create a sim room... which after watching this expansion be played before I know it's not supposed to work that way. So, then afterwards I got out of the game, downloaded the Sims 3 fix... followed those instructions exactly, and still the same thing...

I don't know what else to do, anyone have any ideas?

You're right, it isn't supposed to be like this.
Can you tell us anything about your system specs? There have been graphic issues.

Yea it is a little funny looking, but I'd much rather just be playing lol. The game played just fine before I installed pets, so idk what's wrong. Sad

Lol I doubt that matters much.
Back to the problem at hand. Are you using mods/cc at all? If you do, you could try removing all of them (apart from store updates) and see if that works. You'll have to get updated versions of all your user created mods and items.

lol, whoops. I just copied everything off a website, didn't notice that. Guess it's a bit obvious I'm playing on a laptop now huh? Razz

I have very little cc, but I'll try that and see if it works. *crosses fingers*

Hi, I get the same things! I don't see my sims either and I also get those Horses and cats and dogs in the same screen as you.. How did you fix it? I hope that you have the solution because I'm going crazyyy! Tried a lot but nothing helps..
