Something is wrong with this download.

I don't know why but even with a vanilla game, this chooses to crash. I actually brought a new video card when I had this issue in the beginning with the games from you guys... Now I realize it wasn't even the issue. But whatever, a new video card is always nice. I played TS4 trial through Origin twice, gfx on ultra with no problems.
It opens up and plays, once you get to live mode it's okay but once it stutters... It crashes to the desktop. Idk why the game crashes when I use your application. Any help? If not, I'm just gonna buy the game.

Welcome to the forum.
I'm not sure why the trial doesn't crash, but it's possible that it's not as complete as the full game is. Though I am not sure about that.
There are other factors: The trial is just the base game, but it will probably be patched.
Our base game is just the very first game version, which was probably bugged.
Complete with City Living, can't be compared to running just the base game, the game will use more resources and, it's still bugged.
In short, the game is bugged
Unfortunately the franchise is known for it's issues with crashes, and lag. It was highly unlikely to begin with, that upgrading to a new video card would've solved that (but yes, having a new video card is always nice
)
The only thing we can suggest at this point is to try this post.

Thanks for responding Edin. Also can I ask you where do we extract the Setup1, Setup2, Setup3, Setup4, and Setup5 packages...? I think that could be part of the issue. But yep, Ea is known for bugged games.

You're welcome.
You don't actually have to extract those, just running "The_Sims_4_Setup.exe" after unrarring the original RAR is enough.

Okay, thanks! Another question... I looked at the link you sent me. For some od reason my DEP says I can't add TS4 to the exception list... Do you have any advice on that?

Unfortunately, nothing worked. I'm just going to buy the game. I always like to have every sims base game anyways. It was a worth a shot.
