Hey all, I've been reading the G4TW forums and downloading from the Downloads Section for a long time now... the main reason for never signing up for these forums was that I felt I had nothing to offer anyone in terms of help, due to the fact that anytime I've ever had a problem with a Sims game, it's been instantly solvable by reading something posted by G4TW Admin or Users, or downloading a very user friendly (considering the field) fix to solve the problems.




I played the Sims 3 + Every single expansion pack and add on available without spending a penny, all because of G4TW. That's a lot of money I saved and didn't have at the time.




One post can't explain how grateful myself and others are for the work everyone here puts in.




I recently got the Sims 4 from G4TW and was using the unofficial workaround to access the gallery, but have decided that as I'm no longer broke   and as I'd like to start making and sharing Sims 4 items regularly, that I'd buy the game, and also the outdoors retreat.


So I'm currently installing my outdoors retreat and looking forward to simming... but I got that nostalgic feeling, like I've left a friend behind, you know... the one you get when a 5 season series ends 


I'll be continuing to recommend G4TW to friends, and coming here for other games... but I just couldn't "go legit" without giving the biggest tip of the hat i possibly could to G4TW.


Without G4TW there was no Sims 3 for me, and many more of us...

It's good to hear that the "Fixes" provided here actually helped someone. (Without us having to point them to those fixes)

But don't worry, you've not lost a friend. Games4theworld will still be here. And once you're part of the family, you stay part of the family. So feel free to visit us any time, we'll be there for you. (And hey, even with retail copies you'll eventually run into issues)
