sims 3 asking for activation code.[SOLVED]

okay firstly, i have downloaded a "Super Patcher" from this website --->http(doubledotupdown)//forum(dot)thesims3(dot)com/jforum/posts/list/175477(dot)page<---
the patch will patch for any Sims 3 version/any region code into -->v1.26.89<--.
my original version is ->v1.00.615<-. I have installed the super patcher & it works fine. My Sims 3 (base) is now v1.26.89, but now when i click play on the Sims 3 launcher,it asking me for the activation code.. where can i get this? any crack for v1.26.89?

Updating into version 1.26.89 is DONE, but know the activation code is the problem! help please!
I need to update sims 3 (base) to install other expansion/stuff Shocked

Hello,

In order to correctly patch to the latest version, please use this Fix: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems

You'll need the up-to-date crack which is included with the Fix. Although, you also need to install either: Pets, Generations and/or Town Life Stuff for the Fix to work. Please read the included instructions.

im so confused about guide in the rar.. the guide said that i need to have sims 3 generation... but when i want to try to install sims 3 generation, it asked me to update the base game first.. how come i want to install it (generation) even sims3 base not even updated lol
anyway, i figured it out! thanks for the Ultimate Fix! it helps me a lot !

the step that i have done,
1. Install the sims 3 base first, (v1.0.615)
2. Install the sims 3 generation & it will ask to update sims3 base first,(choose to update it)(small update that so important that will update the base game into v1.21.123.) *this mean im updating sims3 base through Sims 3 Generation setup* & the update comes with the installer

3. Copy the contents of "Base Game" & "Generation" (from ultimate fix) & paste it into the sims 3 base folder
4. Open Launcher, & update the game again (the update attempt to download a Super Patcher (850mb) that i have downloaded & it will update the base game again into v1.26.89)
5. After update installed, copy the content "# crack" & paste it into sims 3 base folder.

The step up there works for me as you write it on the guide,
but if i don't apply the step 2 to update the game & i just skip it to step 3, the Launcher will end up with not responding/error/won't open & i can't proceed to step 4 to update the game.

Hello,
That the installer asks you to update before installing Generations is normal. The update is vital because it prepares the base game for the expansionpack. So this should be good.
Can this topic be closed?
