Can't Install Downloads

I downloaded every expansion pack for the Sims 3 and installed them. You all know how excruciating this process is.

I did three things differently:

1.) I installed Pets from another source.
2.) I retrieved the Pets crack files from GameCopyWorld.com.
3.) I forgot to 'Update' before placing the Pets crack files in the main Sims 3 Bin folder.

Now, I cannot seem to add any downloads. I place them all in My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\ Downloads..

When I open The Sims 3 or The Sims 3 Pets, there will only be one download and the only option will be "Delete."

Also, it's been a long time since I installed all the expansions for The Sims 2, so I am not sure which game I'm supposed to open so that it includes all of them - the main one The Sims 3 or the last one The Sims 3 Pets?

Oh, and whichever one I click, The Sims 3 Town Life Stuff and The Sims 3 Pets are grayed out in the bottom and read "Requires The Sims 3 Pets", even when it is the The Sims 3 Pets that I opened.

I have a lot of experience with this sort of thing, but no matter what, installing The Sims with expansion packs is a recipe for disaster.

I would suggest you to:

1) Completely remove THe SIMS 3 and all expansion.
2) Restart computer.
3) Install base game. (Do not apply any crack)
4) Install SIMS 3 pets (Do not apply any crack)
5) Install the rest of the expansion that you like (Do not apply any crack)
6) Open ultimate fix. Look for crack folder. And copy the file inside the folder and paste at base game file directory.

P/S: If you don't want to uninstall the game at the moment. Wait for Admin or Lady Eldi come with different answer
