The sims 4 updated and extensions?

Hi, sorry maybe it's a silly question...but I'm reading and reading and can't stop wondering if I understood well.
Obviously I have the base game and get to together pack all downloaded from this website. I've downloaded the fix because I liked the last changes....but it doesn't work. I explain better.... it workes but without the extensions, and I've read a topic where someone explained that if a person want the extensions, can't have the latest changes because the fix is just for the base game.
Now, please, someone can tell me if I understood well or I'm totally wrong?? 

ps: In the meantime , I've deleted everything and started to download the base game and the expansions all again.

Installation must be done in the following order:
1. base game
2. Get to Work
3. Get Together
4. City Limits

No fix or ultimate fix required.

yes thanks, I got it. But, in this way I can't have the last kind of the game, isn't it?
I mean, like the camera button on the center (close the play/stop game). Am I correct? thanks
