Sims Castaway Stories serial number.

I tried to install the sims castaway in windows 10. It gets to the installation screen asking for the serial number.  I Typed in the serial that came with the download and it says it is invalid.

It should be valid, make sure you didn't mistype it. When in doubt, you can always copy/paste the entire serial number in the dialog box.

Hi. I've had this problem too. I made sure I didn't mistype the serial number and it didn't work. Please help. Thanks.

EDIT: Well. I feel stupid. I decided to restart it and type it in one last time and it worked.

When you copy & paste, make sure there are no empty spaces at the beginning. I can't recall if this is the case with The Sims [Castaway] Stories, but in some games, when you are not careful enough there is an empty space right at the beginning. Which means that when you copy/paste, only the first three digits of the serial are pasted in the first box, and this messes up the entire number.

Also make sure to pay attention to differences between e.g. "0" (zero) vs. "O" (Uppercase letter "O"). Or "l" (lowercase letter "L") vs. "I" (Uppercase letter "I"). I myself mostly copy and paste serials, and so far with no issues.
