Some packs won't uninstall!

I tried to uninstall 2 Expansion Packs to try and fix a glitch I had. However, they just won't uninstall. When I uninstall it, it says it was successfully uninstalled, but it's still there. Because of this, I tried reinstalling it at a later date, and it's asking me if I want to uninstall it. I go through with it, but again, it doesn't work. Please help me!

The packs that are facing this issue are TS3: Ambitions & TS3: Pets

It looks like you can now only remove these expansions via the register.
When the downloads are from G4TW:

Open the register (Windowskey + R) en type regedit in the appearing window


1. Open folder HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
2. Open folder SOFTWARE.
2a. For 64-bits computers open folder WoW6432Node
3. Open folder Electronic Arts.
4. Open folder Sims.
5. Rightclick on folders for the expansions you want to delete and select Delete
6. Close folder Electronic Arts.
7. Open folder Sims. (you must scroll down to that folder)
8. Right-click again on the folders you want to remove and select Delete.
9. Close folder Sims

10. Close register

That's....odd. I can't find 'em there. Only shows the ones I have successfully installed.

What about the Control Panel - Software ?
Still visible there ?

Also follow this Path:
Go via Explorer to your Local disc C
Open folder ProgramData
Open folder Microsoft
Open folder Windows
Open folder Menu Start
Opn folder Programs
Open folder Electronic Arts

If you still see your unwanted expansion, leftclick on the folder
You now see the option to remove it.

Okay, I could only get as far as "Open folder Windows" in your instructions. There's no folder there that's labelled "Menu Start".

Well, this is getting nowhere fast...

Programs & The Sims 4

The stuff in 'The Sims 4' are only documents from G4TW. As for Programs, there's nothing related to The Sims 3. No EA/Electronic Arts folder, no The Sims 3 folder, no nothing.

Is it just....broken? I really hope not...

Okay, I need this fixed....even Microsoft Support couldn't help me. This is something I need to consult EA with (probably), but that's not a good idea with THIS copy.

Just download - mount in Poweriso - Click on Setup and voila, all DLC's installed.

Just uncheck Bing Bar at the installation. (I know it is in one of my 1-click downloads, not sure about this one)

When downloaded, mount in a Poweriso virtual drive and from there click on Setup.exe.
It will also install the Redist and Directx if they do not already exist.
