Sims 4 toddler update won't open when installing CC

Hi, I'm sorry if there's a thread for this that I missed, but whenever I run  my sims with the toddler update it shows an error, but when i remove all the cc it works correctly. can someone please help me with this?

Um, there is a mod,hack or some cc that is corrupt. You unfortunately have the tedious task to find it. Move out of the sims 4 folder in Documents ( to desktop ) run the game so it creates a new mods folder. Exit. Now go to your mods folder on desktop and use the 50/50 method. i.e. put half of your mods etc in a file (call that file test 1  ) move that into your new mods folder. Run game and see what happens. If all is fine, you know the corrupt cc is not in that test one file. Exit game. If it gives the problem, you know one or more of those files is/are corrupt. than you have to remove half of the mods, cc etc out of the test one file into a new file. ( test 2 ) run game, see what happens, repeat until you have found the corrupt file. It was mentioned that the sims mods conflict detector can help, get it from mod the sims. run it and see what comes up. It is not 100% fool proof. ( sorry, we are not allowed to post links.)

Some CCs aren't updated to the latest version of the game so it will cause some problems in your game. It is highly recommended that you find the cc that's causing trouble or play vanilla. Or maybe download the latest CCs?

Thanks guys I tried removing cc one by one actually and oh dear heaven it took me forever. all of the cc i have are updated. i read the description and it says that its compatible with the toddler update. i'm really not sure what to do next

Did it work? What other problems are you having? 
Despite the fact that I badly wanted to use CCs, sometimes I resist the urge to download them just so I won't have to keep up with the updates and incompatibilities
