Sims 4 won't open

I've installed the G4TW toddlers and vampires pack, renamed the Game folder "Game_", did everything correctly as it said but the game won't open. When i try to open it, the screen turns black with the blue loading circle as it usually does and then it turns off. Any ideas why is this happening?

did you try opening it as admin?

Did you add the fix? You must paste that into your games folder.( Program files/Sims4)
This gives you a new Game folder from which to start your game. Do not use the renamed Game_ folder ever again, or until a different fix is found!

I'm having the same issue here Loonie, except it doesn't turn off unless i turn it off. I have no mods, tried as an admin and I did everything exactly right during every install and I have more than enough space for the game.
I honestly have no clue what to do - halp please
