Language setting???

Hi , anyone know if it's possible to change the language? Since the installment isn't like the ordinary sims games....even sims 3 cracked I was able to do it, but then again this crack isn't the same.....or is there no option?

Please help my lady would like it in french

Hi! I'm not sure if this works anymore but I found a thread for you. Maybe it'll help? The last update was last year though so I'm really hoping the method still works. Else, I guess someone who could change the language or their game might help.

Edit: I tried it out and got and error in French when starting the game. Something about language not being installed I guess? You could try it and see if you have that error or perhaps figure out what it is. LOL

Hi,

I just finish to install the game and I would like to run it in french. I followed each step of the post "Changing in-game language", I tried to edit "RldOrigin.ini", I also tried to download the languages and replace the file but when I run it as administrator, it show me a error message "Impossible to launch : the content of the file was created by a newer version of "The sims 4" and can't be loaded. Please upgrade your game on Origin to play".

Does anybody know what is the problem or what I have got to do ?

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Generally for new topics, we encourage members to open a new thread so as not to mix with the old one. Smile

Nonetheless, it seems that your sims 4 is not "up-to-date"? The latest version is 1.29 and if you have it, it should work fine. However, if I'm not wrong, the languages file is up till ver 1.25 instead. Perhaps you can manually edit your .ini file?

EDIT: It seems there was and update yesterday so the new version is now 1.30 WHICH we don't have yet. So unless you have a legit game and it auto-update, OR you are actually playing the legit version then unfortunately this does not apply.
