Installing The Sims 3.

Hey everybody,

Can anybody help me with the following problem?
When I try to install The Sims 3 on my pc at the Local Disk: C, then there's in no time no room left for expansionpacks, how can that be? Is the game really that big or is there something else?
I hope you guys can help me out, because I've a 1 TB disk, so that shouldn't be the problem if you ask me..

You can install the Sims 3 on any disk, C, D or even an external hard drive.
One of the first options when installing is to indicate where you want it.

That's right, but I do only have one disk.

Fully installed it takes 22,6 GB on your disk + approx 8 GB for your game progress.

Also, your initial problem (C: drive showing as "full" although it isn't), may have been resolved by re-booting the computer, or by going under C:Windows\Temp and emptying the contents of said "Temp" folder. Also, under the WinRAR settings, look for this here:




Check the box (or see if it checked) and click on "OK". Re-boot the computer again, if needed.
