Sims 4 Stopped Working When Travelling Back Home From Community Lot

Excuse me everybody, I am posting this topic here because I have a problem with The Sims 4 and I just don't know what's wrong. I've been trying to look for the solution(s) on the Internet, but none of the problems matches my case here. So, I really need your help here. 
So, I've installed Sims 4 Base Game + Get To Work expansion that I downloaded from G4TW. I installed it on my D drive because my C drive lacks of space (I hope this is not the cause of my problem). Everything went fine for the past few days, I managed to create a Sim, built a house for him, and played with him for few days without any problem. Then I decided to make him travel to the park (My sim lives in Willow Creek). The traveling from his house to the park was fine, and he managed to know some new people there. But when he was going home, the loading screen loads for awhile, freezes and then there is a popup saying "The Sims 4 has stopped working". It's not only the park, but every community lots he is trying to go home from gives the same problem. And I've also tried with another family, and the result is the same. I am confused now, as I don't have any idea what is wrong. So, I really appreciate any advice from you all. Hi @RickYo98 ,
Do you have any mods/CCs installed? If yes, I'd suggest moving them out and then run the game again. If not, rename your Sims 4 folder (in Documents) to Sims 4 backup and then test the game. If the bug did not occur, it's either a mod-conflict OR your saves files are corrupted.
Alternatively, you can try to update your game to see if the bug disappears.
Do keep me updated!

So, I've tried what you have advised me, about renaming my Sims 4 folder to Sims 4 backup, and create a new save file. And when doing the same thing with the new save file, everything turns out to be fine! The game doesn't crash at all. So, I guess my old save file is corrupted. Rather sad, actually, as I have to play all the way from the beginning.

Hi @RickYo98,
You can also 'revert' your to an earlier save before the game crashes or the bug happens, provided, you did not save it after. If you'd like, you can send me your saves and I can test it for you.
However, if you have mods, it might be a mod problem like I stated earlier.

I'm sorry, @Ageha, but unfortunately when I reopen the old save file, I do keep playing with it but I didn't make my Sim go to community lots because the problem will only occur if I go to community lots. And I saved the game even after the crash happened, stupid me. But I have never installed any mods or CC before, so I think it's my save file that is corrupted. Thank you for the offer , but I'm afraid I can't fulfill the offer though. Sorry...

Hahaha. No worries! Though if you look at your saves, there should be ver0 till ver4. Those can be rename to just .save instead so the game will detect whichever version as your last played. If you sort under date modified, you can see the time differences. I have some with 12-hr real time diff, or one/two days. While others is just one hour.
