Registry code?

hi there.....installed the base game.....updated with the update fix......copy past the TS3 EXE and dll into C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin......when i try to open game from the crack TS3 EXE a EA banner opens and says i need a new registry code......?
i have sims 4 from your site......works perfect.....sims 3.....nope.....
i want only the base game......

Hello and welcome to the Forum @timadak!
The issue with the game is, that it doesn't work if you install just the base game. You MUST install at least one (1) of the expansions or stuffpacks in addition to the basegame, because otherwise the crack doesn't work. See the guide here:

After installing the basegame, install the 1.67 manual patch, then install an expansion/stuffpack, apply the crack, and you should be fine. Good luck, and do keep us posted!

No, YOU are the best!
If you want to add more expansions/stuffpacks, just install on top of your installation. Normally you shouldn't have to re-apply the crack, but maybe you can still do if you can.
