No create a pet after installing TS4 C&D

I have been playing my sims 4 with all packs installed just fine, until I installed cats & dogs. when i go to main menu in game, it says that i have c&d installed, but there is no create a pet tool! i tried putting a downloaded pet in tray folder to open a pet from the gallery to see if that works, the downloaded pets show up in my gallery but i can't open them. what's wrong?

In cas next to the sim there is the + sign. click on that and you get the pop up to add sim, Vampire etc, There is also a paw print. click on that and you can create your pet.

Like @Loonieloose said, the feature to create Pets is "integrated" into CAS, and there is no separate CAP.

no i know where the create a pet was xd it wasn't there. But i installed it wrong, I moved the folders to the sims 4 folder instead of copy pasting it. But this problem is already solved someone helped me with it yesterday!
