Sims 3 Create-A-Sim not working after installing AND uninstalling Pets

Okay, so I installed Pets and when I went in to play, create-a-sim appeared to work until you clicked on hair. The hair menu would not show up, then the clothing was gone. I uninstalled Pets and it still has the same issue. Anyone have any idea what's going on?
Running Mac OSX version 10.5.8
Running Sims 3 version 8.0.152.014001
(Late Night and Generations installed, just uninstalled Pets)

Same here, i continued using a pre made sim and the game crashed also once i purchased a house. Not to mention you couldn't click several things when trying to build a house.
