Cats & Dogs problem!

Installed fine, runs fine but in CAS my pets are all black, cant see any details & the pet attributes etc are all showing as llamas. Also certain npcs are showing as just red, white and black figures. Is there something I've done/not done??

Play without CC/mods

Never had any, hence being puzzled about what the problem is.

Hi there,

The red,white and black figures, does it include question marks as well? If so, it might be a mesh-related problem. Have you tried re-downloading/extracting the Cats n Dogs again and then copy + paste them to your game?

Yes, I reinstalled & that fixed it. However, I've come across another problem when "travelling" to other worlds, it makes  my game crash. I don't travel my sims around very often so it's not such a big problem, but my kids do when they play so I'd like to try and fix that if possible. I've not read anything about anyone having this problem yet, but will keep looking.

I see. Does the crashing affects any other households as well? Try to create a new sim OR rename your Sims 4 folder (in Documents) and then create a new sim and see if that helps. If it does not crash, and you have no mods/CCs, a corrupted save might be the cause.

Else, try lowering the graphic settings/switching to windowed mode before travelling?
