Sims Stories games not installing. Empty Sims Stories games not installing.

Post by Guest Sun 31 Dec 2017, 23:37

Hi! I'm attempting to install the Sims Castaway, Pet, and Life Stories. All three are refusing to run the installation; when I run the AutoRun.exe it asks me to insert the DVD into my disk drive. I actually own the disks for two of these but my disk drive won't read them anymore (it treats them like there's no disk inserted), which is why I'm looking for alternatives. Is there any known way to get around this? Thanks.

Welcome to the Forum @NightRaven713 and sorry for the belated reply,

The Forum had been inactive for a while, and we are just slowly trying to get back on track. If you still needed help with the issue...

The Games4theworld torrents are generally packed in .rar archive files, and the way you go about using them is, that you use the program WinRAR (can be fetched from our Downloads Page here), and extract the contents of the .rar into a fresh folder. Then you run the installer from the folder. Note that every individual .rar file/downloads, must have its contents extracted into individual folders as well.

So in this case, if you tried extracting all 3 Sims Stories games into just one folder, it won't work probably. Every game must have its own folder.

Good luck!
