"Request Table" action bug at Restaurants

Hello fellow simmers!
So I've been having this bug since a long time ago (I kept ignoring it) and now it has become very annoying.
Everytime I go to a restaurant (currently, I just went for a date with my 2 sims) and try to request table with the waiter, the action auto-cancels and doesn't request the table, so there's no way I can be seated. It happens in every restaurant lot.
I've been having this bug since I the toddlers & vampires update, and it hasn't been fixed (not even with all the fixes and updates that have come out before).
Please, help!
