Question: Library Sims

Hello everyone. I'm just curious about something: Do the sims I saved in my library show up in game? There are some sims I don't want to put in the world I'm playing but still want them to show up in game, like NPCs. Is that possible?

Hello @Jeikeistar,

I believe you would have to actually place the (library) sims, into houses in the neighborhood. Otherwise the neighborhood is filled with randomnly-generated sims. I admit I am not 100% sure about this, but then again. Those downloaded sims that you place into the library tend to be specific in the way they were created.

It is possible that the game randonly creates a sim that looks the same or at least similar, but I don't think the game actively looks in your library.

Oh, that's unfortunate. I guess there wouldn't be any mod which allows it too, huh.
