Sims 3 Pets isn't recognized.

So I installed the game yesterday along with the EPs: Generations and Pets. (all from this website(
When I open the Sims 3 shortcut it takes me to the menu and it says: "Error. Unable to connect to Origin). I press ok and then play, which then reads: "Disc Authentication Failure"
"No game disc found! Please insert The Sims 3 Pets game disc before proceeding.

- I installed the base game first
- I installed the update
- I followed the guide on how to install the EPs
- Everything is from this website, and not origin
- It does say at the bottom that both EPs are enable
- Pressing the Sims 3 Pets shortcut doesn't fix the problem

Hello and welcome to the Forum,


I believe the crack-files included in the Pets-expansion are outdated. Assuming you already patched to 1.67, please download the newest NoCD-files here:

Extract with WinRAR and you get two files. Copy and paste them under C:\Program files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin. Replace the existing files when prompted. Then run the game from that "TS3W.exe" (and/or create a desktop shortcut).
