Hi I have one question. [SOLVED] Empty Hi I have one question. [SOLVED]

I hope I got into the right thread if not I'm sorry.
So, I'm currently renovating Windenburg (Replacing all lots and houses) through my laptop. Mostly because I can build while watching netflix.
However, I want to play the game on my gaming computer. Can I just install the game on my gaming pc (of course through you guys) and then replace the documents folder with the one on my laptop?
Will all the lots etc. be there then?
I've used the tray version before but it will take time to bulldoze the lots and replace them.. So I was hoping there was a quicker way to do so!

Yes, you can.
Copy the folder Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to an USB stick and then over to your other PC.
Make sure this The Sims 4 folder is again inside a folder Electronic Arts in My Document

You don't even have to re-install the games, just copy your install-folder The Sims 4 in Program Files to your other PC and run the first time as an Administrator to make an entry in your PC's register.

I know for the matter at hand it doesn't matter, but...may I ask what exactly you mean by "tray version" in this context? Smile

Hi of course! I save my sims or lots into the library and then I close the game and use a program called "Sims 4 tray importer" which gives me the exact files of the sims or lot(s) so I can take a copy of them. I highly recommend this program for backups or simply for cleaning if you use custom content you want to get rid of but don't know the name of the files etc Smile

Ah, that. Smile  I think we mentioned it, in the context of the TS4 Gallery announcement here:
https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t31771-new-update-on-the-ts4-gallery-please-read-updated-on-21-02-2018

That said, did you have any further questions for the moment, or can we mark the topic as "solved"?

Edit: problem solved, topic closed, I guess. Have fun again! Very Happy
